    DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System Thank you for choosing DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System. This document provides the user instructions for proper fitting, part ordering and care of this medical device. Using the Guide Please acquaint yourself with the product by reading the entire guide before use.

    DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System - Interface Assembly Please make sure you read all instructions before you begin using this medical device with your CPAP device. Refer to the images below for part identification. Pillows Exhaust Ports Retainer bars Angled Size Marking Connector Adapter (back side)
  • Page 11 place the pillows in your nose, make sure you have the Cannula/Mask oriented per the diagram below. You have a good fit when you can push the cannula/Mask in, and it does not fall out of your nose. Refer to the Trouble Shooting guide if you have any sealing difficulty once therapy is initiated.
  • Page 12 STEP 2 Angled Adapter attachment: Once the correct cannula/mask size has been determined, take the Angled adapter and orient it as shown in the left image below. Insert it into the Connector ring as shown. This may require a moderate amount of force. Once installed correctly, the Adapter should swivel and rotate freely in all directions but not be easily removed.
  • Page 13 STEP 3 Hose attachment: Attach hose to either end of the Swivel Adapter and to the smooth end of the Angled Adapter. The hose has a rubber cuff on each end that slides over the Angled Adapter and the Swivel Adapter as shown in the images below.
  • Page 14 Pay special attention to the side of the head Strap with the REMSleep logo printed on it. This represents the “Outside” side of the strap. Also make sure that the lower strap with the logo on it is in the lower position (the strap that fits around lower back of head.
  • Page 15 Insert the side tabs through the corresponding slots in the retainer bar ends from the inside (the side closest to the head), then pull the tab. through the slot on the Retainer Bar and press the Velcro™ against the “outside” of the Head Strap.

    Fitting Check that your completed assembly matches as shown in the image below. Guide the nasal pillows into your nostrils making sure that the cannula/mask exhaust ports are facing up (away from face). Pull the headgear over the back of your head. For comfort, use straps to find a comfortable fit.

    Removal To take off your DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System simply pull the head strap from the back of your head towards your forehead and gently remove the nasal pillow from your nostrils. Disassembly Reverse the assembly process. You will end up with three distinct pieces: the cannula/ mask assembly, the head strap assembly, and the Tubing assembly.

    CAUTION If any visible deterioration of a DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System component is apparent (cracking, tears, etc.), the component should be discarded and replaced. Avoid connecting PVC products (e.g., PVC tubing), directly to any part of the nasal cannula/mask. Flexible PVC contains elements that can be detrimental to the materials of the nasal cannula/mask and may cause the components to crack or break.
