Connecting a headset
If you clip the Smartbadge to any part of
your clothing that is more than 6 to 12
inches (15 to 30 centimeters) inches from
your mouth, you must wear an earphone or
microphone-style headset (sold separately).
You could also wear a headset when you
want more privacy or are working in a
noisy environment.

Plug the headset into the headset jack at the
bottom of the Smartbadge. When you attach
a headset, the Smartbadge automatically
switches to using the microphone and speaker
of the headset.
