2. Assembling the Scooter Take the Folding E-Scooter out of its box, pull the lock lever on the steering column forward and fold the handlebar up. Then push the lock lever back again. Open the quick release in the middle of the handlebar and turn the handlebar to a position that’s comfortable for you.

Open the quick release on the seat post mount on the frame and insert the seat post. Adjust the seat height to a comfortable position (the minimum insertion mark is not visible) and then close the quick release. Preparation Remove the 4 mounting screws for the luggage basket above the rear mudguard.
3. Display functions Insert the key and twist it to start the E-scooter. Twist the key one more time to turn on the front light and rear light. When you press the brake handle, the motor wheel will stop and the rear light will flash. The Display shows the current battery power level.

BATTERY DISPOSAL Do not store the battery in temperatures above 50˚C or below -20˚C. CONTAINS SEALED LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES. BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED. Your Zinc product uses sealed lithium-ion batteries which must be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Do not dispose of a lithium-ion battery in a fire. The battery may explode or leak.
5. Safety Warnings - Read before use For your safety, please read the safety warnings carefully, and make sure you understand and accept all the safety instructions. The user will be responsible for any loss or damage caused by improper use. Not for riders under the age of 14.

Charge the battery after each ride and avoid operating the battery on “empty”. Maintenance and care Tightening/loosening the brake cables: 1. To tighten or loosen a brake cable, you first need to loosen the lock nut on the brake lever in question. 2. Then turn the adjusting nut to tauten the brake cable (distan ce between the brake shoes and brake disc is reduced), or in the opposite direction to loosen it (distance between the brake shoes and brake disc increases).
