    Cleaning and Maintenance Cleaning the air filter For the best performance from your mini-split, clean it periodically. When cleaning, make sure to unplug from the unit for the user’s safety. When cleaning the filter, make sure to unplug the power from the unit. A washable foam based Air filter captures large particles from the air.
