  • Page 2 DRIVER DUTIES Before starting a journey, the driver must check: • The tire pressure (visual check on a daily basis - test tire on a weekly basis). • No liquids are leaking on pavement (visual check). Ensure that no oil exits from the muffler and that you see no excessive blue smoke (turbocharger oil consumption).

    A flashing DPF lamp indicates that the aftertreatment diesel particulate filter needs to be regenerated at the next possible opportunity. Engine power may be reduced automatically. FLASHING When this lamp is flashing, the operator should: - Change to a more challenging duty cycle, such as highway driving, for at least 20 minutes.
