SAFETY • Clean the machine completely, especially, the fuel tank, its surroundings, and the air cleaner. • When refueling, be sure to stop the engine and contirm that it is cooled down.. Never refuel when the engine is running or hot. When gasoline spills, be sure to wipe it up completely dispose of those materials before starting the engine.

For your safety, and to maximize the service life of your equipment, it is very important to take a few moments before you operate the engine to check its condition. SETUP FUEL & OIL MIXTURE •Never fill the fuel tank to the very top •Never add fuel to the tank in a closed non-ventilated area •Do not add fuel to this until close to an open fire or sparks •Be sure to wipe off spiled fuel before attermptng tostart engine •Do not attempt to refuel a hot engine Fuel used for this model is a mixture of unleaded gasoline and approved engine lubricant.
SETUP PREPARING FOR OPERATIONS IMPORTANT: Failure to follow proper fuel mix instructions may cause damage to the engine. 1. one month mixture, mix only the amount needed for the job you are to do. Do not use fuel that has been stored longer than two months.
MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE & CARE AIR FILTER • Accumulated dust in the air filter will reduce engine efficiency. Increase fuel consumption and allow abrasive particles to pass into the engine. Remove the air filter as o en as necessary to maintain in a clean condition.

SETUP GRASS TRIMMER OR BRUSH CUTTER SET UP Fit the metal shield to the gear box housing.Using three screws and secure to box housing.Fit the lining to the gear box housing.Secure metal blade between upper and lower plate with nut. Make sure that cotter pin is installed.

MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE OF POLE HEDGE TRIMMER TRANSMISSION The reduction gears are lubricated by multipurpose grease in the transmission. Grease should be added every 25 hours of use or more o en depending on the job condition. When adding lubricant, use a grease gun to insert lubricant into the three grease nipples located on the transmission. HEDGE TRIMMER BLADE: •When refilling the tank or resting, it is o en a good idea to use the time to oil the cutting blades.

SETUP INSTALLING THE GUIDE BAR AND SAW CHAIN Chain Tension Set Up The saw chain has very sharp edges. Use protective gloves for safety. Always pay attention to the chain tension. A slackened chain will increase the risk of backlash. If slackened, the chain could spring out of the guide, could cause injury to the operator and as well as damage to the unit.
