MOUNTING LOCATIONS Trunk Mounting To ensure optimal operating temperatures, it is recommended to install the amplifier on the trunk floor. -

ENGLISH AMPLIFIER MOUNTING When determining the installation location, please keep in mind that the amplifier generates heat. Therefore, choose a location where air can flow freely around the amplifier. Do not cover the amplifier with materials such as carpet, acrylic, or hide it behind car panels/compartments. -

The negative power cable or ground cable is equally important as the positive power cord, so both cables should be of the same size. The recommended power cord size for the REVOLUTION 5A1 is 4 AWG (21 mm ). ENGLISH RCA INPUT CONNECTIONS The CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A1 amplifier only accepts unbalanced (RCA) low level signals from digital media players, compact disc players or digital signal processors. High performance cables from Harmonic Harmony brand are recommended. WARNING: Do not dis-connect or re-connect the RCA cable while the amplifier is active (ON). -

ENGLISH LED INDICATOR (ON) The LED will illuminate when the amplifier is working normally. Refer to Figure 4. LED INDICATOR SAFETY (FAULT) The OVER HEAT LED will light up if the amplifier temperature is above 80 degree Celcius. The OVER CURRENT LED will light up if the amplifier draws too much current due to improper speaker impedance selection. -

Gain for both amplifier can be controlled from Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Refer to Figure 10. 7. 2 units of the CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A1 is connected to 1 double voice coil subwoofer with 1 Ohm impedance in MASTER and SLAVE configuration. Ensure that the loudspeaker impedance does not fall below the minimum load requirements of the amplifier (1 Ohm for CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A1) Over current indicator a.
