    In all pictures of this manual a SOLID 45ET-2 printer equipped with two tractors and an external cutter is shown. The SOLID 45ET-2 with two feed units can be used to print on two different types of material alternately (material differing in page length and/or paper width).
  • Page 8 Introduction ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the printer SOLID 45ET / 45ET-2 a software (called printADMIN) will be available to allow a printer configuration via Ethernet. The controller has its integrated website with information on the printer status and the printjob status. Data can be sent from almost any software platform, because printer drivers are already available for them.

    Using unsuitable consumables may cause a reduction of output quality or damages. The SOLID 45ET-2 (with two feed units) can be used to print on two different types of material alternately (material differing in page length and/or paper width). For the two tractors are addressable separately, the printer can be switched from one material type to the other easily.

    4. Place the paper on the upper tractor. Please note:  For the SOLID 45ET-2 (with double tractor, factory option) print media with blackmarks is needed. This print media has to be inserted in the right way to avoid an error (see figure 4.2.1.a and compare section 8.5 Further Error Messages).
