The panel uses two lead acid gel 12V/2.3Ah batteries connected in series. Connect the batteries with the supplied 2.4 Battery installation free lead and the batteries to the power supply unit with the red (positive) and black (negative) wires.

Back to the interface board, which has 2 rocker switches, 2.7 Initial Power up the right one is mains switch (Item 2 in Figure 2), the other one is battery switch (Item 6 in Figure 2).
