    SETUP Install or Replace Batteries 1. Unscrew and remove the battery compartment cover. 2. Insert 3 x AAA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, as shown.     Placement Guidelines For the most accurate reading, extend the anemometer using the built-in extension arm. Extending the anemometer helps prevent surrounding objects rom impacting the accuracy of the wind speed reading.
