Compared with the single- mode EPON/GPON ONU, the main difference lies in the registration process. The dual-mode ONU adds a pre-judgment to the current application system (EPON/GPON). That is, the dual-mode ONU first switches mode, and then starts and completes registration process in the corresponding mode.

HGU ONU doesn’t deal with the packets from the teminal, so we needn’t enable the NAT function.
