The joysteer® system offers a solution for people with disabilities (users) to drive a vehicle on
their own via a suitable input device. joysteer® is a drive-by-wire system (fully electrical) for
steer, brake and gas; intended to be driven with a line-up of different HMI's (human machine
interfaces). Driving conventionally with the original steering wheel and pedals is still possible.
joysteer® is designed as retrofit product for road vehicles.
This document describes the use of the joysteer® system
appropriate driving licence.
This document applies to the joysteer® system generation 3.0.
From the driver view, the system generations can be distinguished with the LED / Buzzer
