DESCRIPTION: The AS-5TD-30MM is a 240V, two function safety air switch. It is designed to operate larger pieces of
electrical equipment such as higher horsepower pumps, blowers, etc., both single and three-phase, using one air
button. Typical installations are illustrated below.

240 V, 50/60 Hz, 50 Amp Service, 2 wire plus ground

Circuit 1: 240V, 20A through 24A rated motor (Circuit 1 protected by a 480V, 30A Listed fuse)
FOR INTENDED
Circuit 2: 240V, 0 through 16A rated motor (Circuit 2 protected by a 480V, 20A Listed fuse)
MOTOR LOADS:
OPERATION:
With the first push of the air button, the equipment is turned on for 30 minutes then returns to off. During
activation, another push of the air button will turn the equipment off.
To wire for 1 single 240V component, connect two hot wires from the breaker. The first goes to Line 1 black

wire that is attached to the fuse. The second goes directly to T2 on the contactor.

CAUTION:
USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY. Do not lubricate relays. All Allied Innovations, LLC controls must be
installed by a licensed electrician according to these instructions.
