Open the Soft Pack . The front fi lter
completely
sealing plug should be automatically removed.

Check the fi t of the half mask by closing the front
fi ltering opening with the palm of your hand. If
negative pressure is not generated readjust the half
mask to ensure a close fi t over nose and mouth.
Always read and understand the instructions for use of the Dräger PARAT ® escape device prior to use!

Break the security seal.

Remove the hood from the Soft Pack. Pull the hood
against the Velcro holder, it will automatically open.
The second fi lter sealing plug will automatically be
detached when the hood is removed.

Ready for use.

Pull the yellow fl ap downwards.

Widen the neck seal and pull the hood over your
head. The inner head harness automatically adjusts
to your head. Ensure that nose and chin sit
comfortably in the half mask and that all hair is
tucked into the hood.
