Out of Warranty Exchange Program If the unit is no longer under warranty and is not covered under a Canon CarePAK, and the end-user calls the Canon Help Desk for Service, the Help Desk will diagnose the problem, and if an exchange is required, the end-user will be charged a one-time service charge of $499 plus any applicable taxes required for the exchange.
