Options

You are already familiar with this menu from the installation. Setting an Administrator
password is mandatory and protects the administration of Avira WebProtector against
unauthorized access or manipulation.

The selected Standard user is activated every time Windows starts and after closing
administration. When the user logs off via the tray icon, there is no user logged on to
Avira WebProtector and all pages are blocked.
If you use a proxy server, the data is automatically displayed. Only experienced users
should modify these settings. The entry format is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:yyyy, where the x-
string is the TCP/IP address and the y-string is the port used. If a proxy server is
configured for the Internet browser during installation of Avira WebProtector, this is
automatically adopted.
Select the language to be used for the administration interface and for all messages.
Click on Apply to save your settings.
Import reads in saved filter sets and users.
Export saves your filter sets and users.
