  • Page 4 Connect TVee Next you need to get an input signal into the TVee soundbar. All it takes is the audio connection cable that is supplied. There are two likely sources for a signal—your television or a cable television connection box. (The control box for a satellite system is for this purpose the same as a cable box.
  • Page 5 Now that things are up and running, it’s time to adjust the bass unit to blend with the soundbar speakers so the system produces the balanced, natural Boston sound. Start with the bass unit volume control at the middle of its rotation range. Play a variety of source material—some music, a movie sound track with dynamic special effects, some spoken dialog.
  • Page 6 Troubleshooting TVee Soundbar does not power on. Is the power supply plugged into a live wall outlet? Is the power supply properly connected to the soundbar power input? 132-000165 for 120V model: Is the rear panel power switch in the “on” position? FUSE 1.0A 250V 20MM VDE Bass unit does not power on.
  • Page 7 TVee Model Two TVee 2 Service Instructions 10/31/07 TVee Subwoofer 1. Removing Subwoofer: Place cabinet upside down on a flat surface. Remove the 4 screws around the woofer using a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Using a small pointed object, such as an awl or pick, lift woofer up form one of the now empty screw holes.
  • Page 8 TVee Soundbar CAUTION: When removing the Electronics Assembly from the Soundbar use extreme caution to avoid damaging the long metal antenna, silver in color. This antenna rests on two plastic standoffs inside the cabinet. 1. Removing Electronics Assembly: Place Soundbar face down on flat surface. Remove the 5 screws, one located at each corner and one above the RF id switch, holding the rear panel onto the cabinet.
  • Page 9 Woofer, Tweeter, Crossover, and Control Panel removal (Electronics assembly should be removed) 1. Place Soundbar face up on a flat surface. 2. Remove grille by pulling the rubber edge on both of the narrow ends. 3. Remove the 12 grille grommets, previously used to hold grille in place, to gain access to the screws holding the front baffle onto the rear cabinet.
