HANDS-FREE START The vehicle is equipped with Hands-Free Start, which will automatically start the vehicle. The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob) must be in the passenger cabin to power on the vehicle. STARTING THE VEHICLE – POWER ON With the key fob in the vehicle, press the brake pedal or close the driver’s door to power on the vehicle.
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER The reconfigurable cluster can display a variety of messages and vehicle information, including energy efficiency, trip information, the audio source, driver assistance infor- mation and more. CLUSTER DISPLAY CONTROLS Display button to view and Press the scroll through the cluster display layouts. Press the switch to scroll through the active menu.

ELECTRONIC PRECISION SHIFT CONTROLS The drive unit is electronically controlled using the shift lever on the right side of the steering column. The selected position is illuminated in red on the lever and is shown on the cluster display. Park – Press the P button on the end of the lever to shift into Park.
REGENERATIVE BRAKING ON DEMAND Regenerative Braking on Demand (Regen on Demand) regenerates some energy from the vehicle’s momentum and stores it in the propulsion battery for later use. To activate Regen on Demand, pull and hold the paddle on the back of the left side of the steering wheel.

LIGHTING SYSTEMS EXTERIOR LAMP CONTROLS Select the Automatic Light Control icon on the infotainment screen to turn the auto headlamps on/off. To manually operate the exterior lamp controls, go to Controls > More Controls > Lights > Headlights on the infotain- ment screen.
DRIVER MODE CONTROL / FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE DRIVE MODES The Drive Modes modify the overall driv- ing experience. Each mode automatically adjusts various vehicle settings based on driving preferences, weather and road conditions. Available modes are displayed on the infotainment screen. To activate each mode, select the Drive Mode icon on the infotainment screen and then choose the desired mode icon.
DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS Safety or driver assistance features are not a substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read your Owner’s Manual for important feature limitations and information. DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS SAFETY ALERT SEAT — The driver’s seat pulses (left, right, or both sides) to alert you of the direction of potential hazards. Audible alerts/rapid beeps may be selected instead. BLIND ZONE STEERING ASSIST – The system works with Lane Keep Assist to help you avoid a potential collision with a detected vehicle in an adjacent lane.

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS REAR VISION CAMERA With the vehicle in Reverse, a high-definition view of the area behind the vehicle displays on the infotainment screen. Camera view buttons are at the bottom of the screen. Touch the Guidelines button to display the guidelines.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING WITH TIRE FILL ALERT Low Tire Pressure light on the instrument cluster illuminates when one or more of the vehicle’s tires is significantly underinflated. Fill the tires to the proper tire pressures listed on the Tire and Loading Information label, located on the curbside bulkhead wall. Current tire pressures can be viewed on the Driver Information Center.

MIDGATE™ OPERATION REMOVING THE REAR GLASS 1. Make sure the Midgate defroster is turned off, and fold the rear seats. 2. Squeeze and pull down the glass latch levers (A), located near the upper cor- ners of the rear glass, to unlatch. Once unlatched, the glass-catch release button (B) will catch the rear glass and prevent it from falling forward.

MULTI-FLEX TAILGATE OPERATION The tailgate has 6 functional positions to improve access to the cargo box. To operate the tailgate, it must be unlocked or the key fob must be within 3 feet of the tailgate. 1. Primary Gate Open the primary gate for access to the cargo box. 2.

MULTI-FLEX TAILGATE OPERATION ENABLE/DISABLE THE INNER GATE The inner gate can be disabled to prevent it from being opened when a hitch or other equipment is installed. To disable or enable inner gate operation, with the key fob within range, press and hold the left button until the taillamps flash (about 7 seconds).

CHARGING When the propulsion battery is low, a charging message may display on the instrument cluster. Charge times will vary based on the battery condition, charge level and outside temperature. It is normal to hear fans, pumps and electrical devices clicking when the vehicle is turned off and charging.
CHARGING START CHARGING 1. With the vehicle in Park, select the Charging icon to review the selected charge mode and charge cord limit. 2. The 8-amp (Level 1, 120 volts) charge cord limit should be used until a qualified elec- trician inspects your facility’s electrical circuit capacity, or if the electrical circuit or outlet capacity is not known.
DC FAST CHARGING DC Fast Charging, available at some public charging stations, provides quick charging of the vehicle’s battery while traveling away from home. DC Fast Charging works best to quickly add miles of range to your vehicle when its charge is below 80%. Charging slows significantly above 80%.
