You must have found with this handbook, a crank for the manual drive of the cylinder. Depending on its destination, the dryer ironer is delivered bare or may be placed on a trans- port pallet and/or packed with plastic film.

The ironing speed can be adjusted according to the linen texture and its degree of moisture. The temperature of the ironing cylinder can also be adjusted by a thermostat.

Usual ironing temperature is around 180 °C (355 °F) for cotton.
