    Installation Installation 1. Follow the Shutdown procedure in the HFR manual. 4. Connect the nip sensor cable to the connector labeled “2B” located on the Motor Control 2. Remove the cover from the hydraulic power pack. Module (MCM). Keep all fasteners and cover for later installation. Connector TI17524a 5.

    Setup Setup NOTE: See HFR manual for more detailed instructions NOTE: The fluid level is recommended to be 3-6 mm while performing steps 1-5, 9a, and 10c. (0.125-0.25 in.) from the sensor face after the HFR dis penses. NOTE: The LED on the sensor will be on when fluid level is within 12 mm (0.47 in.) from the sensor face.

    Maintenance Maintenance NOTICE To avoid damage to the nip sensor, use a solvent compatible with plastic. Contact fluid supplier for recommended solvents. Inspect the nip sensor face daily for contaminants. Remove any contaminants found on the nip sensor face with sol vent.
