  • Page 12: Explanation Standard Code

If there is no afterburner in the installation, the flue gas ducts after the Giesen machines must comply with the T200 class. This is required because this is the nominal working temperature of the Giesen machines.
  • Page 13 The condensate resistance class says something about the condensate resistance of the flue gas duct. The flue gas ducts after the Giesen machines must have the D ('Dry') class, because there is little or no condensation in the ducts. The W ('Wet') class is also always sufficient.
  • Page 14: Example Standard Code Suitable Flue Gas Duct

The soot fire resistance class indicates whether a flue gas duct can withstand soot fire. If there is no afterburner in the installation, the flue gas ducts after the Giesen machines must have the O or G class. If there is an afterburner in the installation, the flue gas ducts after the machines of Giesen must have the class G.
