As an alternative, longer power cords are available to extend the distance between the GigaPro and the power supply. Calix also recommends keeping cabling neat and well secured wherever possible. A tidy installation allows for increased safety and an overall neater appearance. Common tools used for this purpose include cable ties and velcro straps for routing cable out of the way.
