    5. Enter „rep<ENTER/RETURN>“ As result you get the screen shown below. The EV2D-x-EW print up to 8 signal values, the EV2D-x-G print up to 4 signal values until it will be stopped. To stop the continuously print process press <ENTER/RETURN>-key 6.
  • Page 14 The printed signals per print line do not fit for the example. So it‘s necessary to adapt the print values. According to the graphic above the input signal of the box is signal S1 and the output signal of the box is signal OG_S1. In step 7 the print signal FB1 is changed to OG_S1.

  • Page 18 In this operation mode some errors, coming from relay contacts, can be gated. Also test signals coming from the savety unit can be gated. To adapt the EV2D in this case the knowledge of the safety unit signals is necessary.
  • Page 19 Operation mode BA = 1: This operation mode gates test pulse up the width of 500µs. This works only if the space between 2 pulses is constant. You must know this distance between 2 pulses to setup the paramter Tc. Operation mode BA = 2: This operation mode is made to work together with laser light safety gates.

That means each command including space and capitals must be entered exact. If the monitor do not „understand“ the entered code the response is three question maks „???“ .

    13 What is the „rep“-function and how to use it? The command „rep“ stands for repeat and mean the continously listing of internal calculated values in up to eight columns. See example below. The „rep“-function work as a simple scope with manual start / stop. The time between two captured and listed lines is fix 100ms.
