Operating Manual DC3324 General Dust bin (2) and lifting system (10) Underneath the filter housing you will find the dust bin, this bin takes up the particles separated by the filter cartridges. The bin seizes approx. 100 litres / 26.4 gal and is equipped with two wheels.

MACHINE POWER SUPPLY 32 AMP PULL RELIEF In the control panel of the DC3324 all elements are central combined for the operation and monitoring of the dust collector. The main switch (1) must be switched ON to start up the dust collector and attached machines. By push button (2) as well as (3) the fan as well as compressor are switched ON/OFF.

Operating Manual DC3324 General Hose connector (7) The dust hose (1) will be connected via a connector (2) being pushed into the side opening and secured by a notched pin (3). The adapter (2) needs to be pushed into the side of the housing while the pin (3) is lifted upwards, turned about 90 degree and restored back into the bore of the adapter to be locked.

This will allow the filter cartridges to have a better cleaning effect. This is specially recommended when operating in environment with high air humidity and if the treated surface still had humidity.

Operating Manual DC3324 Maintenance 7.6 Belt tension To achieve a maximum power transfer and live time the correct setting of the belt tension is essential. Often belts are set with the wrong tension and fail before normal service time. Belts, that are set with too much tension causing bearing problems on motors and or connected driven units.

DC3324 Operating Manual Maintenance Assembly: Assure that all contact surfaces are free from dirt and oil. Place the taper lock into the pulley. Slightly lubricate the screws (1) and insert them into the respecting threaded holes. Clean the shaft, shift the pulley with the taper lock, as one unit, onto the shaft, and position the assembly.

Operating Manual DC3324 Maintenance 7.8 Changing filter cartridges Before you start changing the cartridges you should clean down as described in chapter 6.3, afterwards remove the dust bin. Remove dust deposits in the filter housing using a dust collector, don't use compressed air.

DC3324 Operating Manual Maintenance 7.9 Drive motors All Motors are appropriate for a long-life span. Damages of the motors are perceptible by unusual noises or malfunctions. Keep the driving motor always free by excessive contamination. (Overheating). Keep the fan covering free and don´t lay any object on the covering.
