Specifying the Tone Curve

You can load saved tone curve files from a computer (p.2-13) and register up to 3 on the
camera. You can also select the tone curve that has been loaded into the [TCD 1] through
[TCD 3] tab sheets, from the list box shown in "Specifying the Parameters" (p.4-12).
For more information on registering the tone curve ([TCD 1] through [TCD 3]) on the
camera, refer to "Setting the Processing Parameters" in the camera's Instruction Manual.
This function is compatible with the EOS-1Ds Mark II, EOS-1D Mark II, EOS-1Ds and
EOS-1D.
With the EOS-1D, only one tone curve can be registered.
Click the [Tone curve] button

The [Tone curve settings] dialog box
appears.
With the EOS-1Ds and EOS-1D, click the
[Parameters] button and then click the
[User-Defined Tone Curve] button on the
displayed [Parameters Settings] dialog
box.
Select the [TCD 1], [TCD 2] or [TCD 3] tab.

For the EOS-1D, proceed to step 3.
Click the [Open] button.

The [Open] dialog box appears.
Open the folder containing the tone curve, select a file, and then

click the [Open] button
The tone curve is loaded.

Select a channel from the list and confirm.

Click the [Apply to camera] button.

The tone curve is registered on the camera.
Click the [Close] button.

The [Tone curve settings] dialog box closes.
Closes the dialog box.
Applies the settings to the camera.
