Understanding the VOC monitors: There is one VOC monitor located at the back of the unit below the round service lights. This monitor indicates both VOC levels and formaldehyde levels present in the environment. Formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds can be measured in either parts per billion (ppb) or parts per million (ppm), a measure of 1000 ppb is equivalent to 1 ppm.

Filter installation: If you have recently purchased your Sonoma Breeze through an authorized distributor, ® it should come already equipped with all the necessary filters and lights. If you are the distributor you must install the filters and lights prior to shipment of the unit. Follow the steps below and refer to the photographs in this section.
