The rust patina finish is a result of the alloy steel being exposed to

water and oxygen. The color may continue to change over time. Help limit
color change and further oxidization by covering or storing the fire pit when
not in use.
Because rust will flake away from the unit, use a drop cloth during assembly.
The rust flakes may cause staining, especially if it comes in contact with
water; avoid contact with clothing.

- Page 2 ASSEMBLY ATTENTION! Do not fully tighten any hardware until all components are loosely connected. If bolts are fully tightened right away, mounting holes may not align and parts may not easily fit together. Turn each bolt, by hand, until the screw grips into the mounting hole. Continue this process until all bolts have been installed.
- Page 3 CARING FOR YOUR FIRE PIT USE ON A SAFE SURFACE: Always use fire pits on a level, non-combustible surface; do not use on a wood deck or any other combustible surfaces like dry grass, leaves, mulch, etc. Always ensure fire pits are a safe distance from combustible structures such as fences, garages, homes, etc.
