Safety
• Handle the product with care. Make sure that
the candle does not become covered with dust
or other dirt.
• The product must not be changed or modified
in any way.
• Do not let children play with the product.
Charging
There is an ON – OFF switch on the base of the
candle. Set the switch to ON and put the candle
TN-8630
in direct sunlight to charge it. Charge the battery
fully before using the candle for the first time.
Using the product
• ON: (Twilight sensor) The light will come on
when it gets dark and stay on until it gets light
or the battery runs out.
• OFF: The light is off.
Replacing the battery
The rechargeable battery must be replaced
whenever necessary. The battery compartment is
in the base of the candle. Remove the 6 screws
to access the battery. Only rechargeable
AAA/HR03 1.2 V/300 mAh NiMH batteries
should be used.
Troubleshooting
The solar-powered candle does not switch on:
• Check which function the switch is set to. For
the light to be able to turn on, the switch must
be set to ON. In the ON mode the light comes
on automatically at dusk and doesn't light
during the day.
• The twilight sensor may be preventing
the light from coming on. Cover the solar panel.
The light should then come on.
• The battery is not properly charged.
Put the candle in the sunlight.
• The candle is dirty. Please clean it.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product
should not be disposed of with general
household waste. This applies throughout
the entire EU. In order to prevent any
harm to the environment or health
hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, the product must be handed in for
recycling so that the material can be disposed of
in a responsible manner. To recycle the product,
take it to your local recycling facility or contact
the retailer. They will ensure that the product is
disposed of in a way that does not harm the
environment.
Cleaning and care
Clean the solar panel with a soft damp cloth.
Use a mild detergent. Never use solvents or
abrasive cleaning agents.
