About operation settings The operation settings of this unit are set from the Microphone System Configuration Center (Mic CC) connected to the Ceiling Array Microphone to which this unit is connected. The available options are shown in the table below. For details about the settings, please refer to the Operating Instructions for the Ceiling Array Microphone and Mic CC.
How to install ■ Notes on installation WARNING: ● Ask your dealer to carry out the installation work. Before starting the installation work, power off the units to be connected. Equipment classification and power source indication label Refer to the indication label on the rear panel of this unit for the equipment classification, power source, and other information. Regarding tightening the screws ● Make sure the screws remain straight as you tighten them. After tightening the screws, inspect them visually to make sure they are securely in place with no rattling.
How to install ■ Ceiling-mounted installation Disconnect the cable from the unit and install in accordance with the following instructions. Drill a hole in the ceiling panel. Drill a Ø65 mm (2-9/16 inches) hole in the ceiling panel. Drill at a position shifted 30 mm (1-3/16 inches) to the right from the targeted center of this unit installation.

How to install ● As shown in the figure below, pass the supplied cable tie through the cable tie fixing part to secure the connection cable, and then pass it halfway through the cable fixing groove at the rear panel of the unit to avoid pinching the cable when installing the unit.
■ Wall-mounted installation (using the fixing bracket) To install this product, disconnect the cable from the unit, and then install it in accordance with the following instructions. Screw the fixing bracket to the wall. Use the 4 supplied wood screws (4.1 mm × 25 mm) to mount the fixing bracket (accessory).

How to install Connect the cable to the unit. Connect the CAT 5e or CAT 6 straight-through cable to the unit. For the cable connection, refer to “How to connect” (page 24). ● When pulling out the connection cable through the top of the unit, pass the supplied cable tie through the cable tie fixing part to secure the connection cable as shown in the figure below, pass it through the cable fixing groove at the rear panel of the unit, and pull the cable out through the top of the unit.

ID registration In order to establish communication between this unit and a microphone, it is necessary to register a pairing (hereinafter referred to as “registration”) between them. Registration is done when you want to use a microphone that has not been registered with this unit, or when a registration error occurs.
