ASSEMBLING THE BRIDGE Build both of the Easy Pool Steps (NE113) before building the bridge and NOTE the gate (NE138). 1. Lay one of the connecting rails down on a level surface. With the treads facing up toward the rails, push the dowels of the connecting step into the openings on the connecting rail until they click into place. -

ASSEMBLING THE BRIDGE (CONT.) 4. Place one of the assembled Easy Pool Steps (NE113) in the pool in the desired location. 5. Ensuring the ground is level, place the other assembled Easy Pool Step (NE113) outside of the pool and align it with the step that is in the pool. 6. - Page 9 ASSEMBLING THE GATE (CONT.) 5. With the longer end of the mounting post facing downward, slide it onto the short handrail post so that it rests on the first step. Repeat for the other mounting post. 6. Secure the mounting posts to the short handrail posts by drilling four 1.25-in screws through the pre-marked openings on both mounting posts.

ASSEMBLING THE HANDRAILS 1. Insert each handrail (packed with the NE113) into the short and long handrail posts with the curved end attaching to the long post. Lubricant may be needed. 2. Drilling through the pre-marked locations on the long and short handrail posts, secure the handrails to the posts using four screws from the hardware bag (included with the NE113). -

ASSEMBLING THE LATCH 1. If the door stop is not fitting into the recessed area of the latch mounting post, adjust the height of the latch mounting post until it allows the door stop to fit correctly. 2. Secure the latch mounting post to the hinge mounting post by drilling six 1.25-in screws through the pre-marked openings on the latch mounting post. -
