This guide describes how to add and manage users in DataPointe for MultiPay POS, configure Axium DX8000 device settings, and log into the MultiPay POS application for the first time. Details on how to use the application can be found in the MultiPay POS User Guide. -

After entering a unique ‘POS Username’ for the user, select the ‘POS Contract’ the user is associated with. IMPORTANT! Enter a mandatory ‘Clerk Id’ for the user. Once all permissions are set, you must select Save on the View Permissions page to save the permissions for the profile. MultiPay POS Setup Guide (DX8000) (Optional) Configuring your DX8000-BASE-W2 Docking Base With the Axium DX8000 Terminal, the Axium DX8000-BASE-W2 docking base is available for an additional cost to connect your terminal device to the internet through a hardwired ethernet connection. The docking station base is connected to the ethernet connection, and then the terminal device (up to 5 devices) connects to the base using wi-fi. -

Connecting your Device and Docking Base Pairing your Device To quickly connect the AxiumDX8000 device to the Axium DX8000-BASE-W2 docking base you can pair the devices using the Pairing button on the side of the docking base. 1. Power on the Axium DX8000 device. - Page 12 • If the green indicator light is on, it indicates the docking base is successfully paired. Note: Only one Axium DX8000 device can be paired at a time. If the docking base is paired to another device, long press the pairing button to clear the pairing record.

3. What do I do if the docking base is not connected to the DX8000 device, while the green indicator light flashes? The two devices are too far away from each other, and the connection is failing. 5. Replace the battery cover of the DX8000 device. To mount the DX8000-BASE-W2 docking station permanently: 1. Remove the battery cover of the DX8000 device. 2. Fasten the base-mounting structure on the base with three screws. Note: The fasteners should be appropriate for counter material. 6. Replace the battery cover of the DX8000 device. 7. Logging into the MultiPay POS Application To log into the application, follow the instructions below. On the device, open the MultiPay POS app published by Worldpay: After being added as a user, you will receive a temporary password to the registered e- mail with a validity of 24 hours. - Page 21 On the Change Password screen, enter the Current Password (temporary password), New Password, and then confirm the new password by entering it again in the Confirm Password field.
