Smartphone User Manual 107
5.2 Internet Explorer
Using Internet Explorer (IE), you can browse the World Wide
Web on your Smartphone. IE supports HTML (Hypertext
Markup Language), cHTML (compact Hypertext Markup
Language), xHTML, WML 2.0, and WAP (Wireless Application
Protocol). It also supports JScript, ActiveX controls, and CSS
(cascading style sheets). The browser supports images and
sounds, but it does not support frames on a Web page.
Starting Internet Explorer
In the Home screen, select Internet Explorer from the Start
menu. The first time you do this, a default list of Favourites
should appear. If you select one and then press the Action
button or the Left Softkey ("Go"), IE will open that web
page.
