Optimus 2.0 Manual

To activate your tracker, please follow these easy steps

Go to our website www.OptimusTracker.com
Click on the "Activate Tracker" link.
Fill out the form. You will need the IMEI number. It's the 15-digit number that is printed on the tracker's labels.
After subscribing, wait a minute for the activation email. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder too.

Activate before installing

About your Tracker

ON: Use the top button, press down hard for 3 seconds until the light starts to flash, the tracker will also turn on automatically when you connect the battery charger.
OFF: Use the top button, press down hard for 3 seconds until you feel the vibrator and let go. The tracker may take up to 1 munute to fully turn

GPS:
Flashing : Searching for GPS signal
Solid for 5 seconds: GPS fix succesful

BATTERY:
Flashing : Battery is low, or Battery is charging.
Solid : Charging is complete

CELLULAR:
Flash 3 times/sec. Searching for cellphone signal
Flash 1 times/sec. Connected to cellphone signal

A little more information

After activation, turn your tracker on and take it outside. Wait a few minutes.
Your tracker should appear on the map soon after. If your tracker does not appear on the map, please contact us.
The tracking unit receives a GPS signal from the sky, this signal can go through plastics, fabrics, under a car seat, in the glove compartment, even under a car. Testing your tracker is the best way to find out where it would work best for you.
Sometimes you may get a drift in the map position if the Tracking Unit is placed in much- concealed location. Please be aware that the signal will not work if the tracker is totally enclosed in metal or inside a building.

When attaching the case

	Make sure that the magnets are attached firmly, otherwise look for an alternative location.
	Make sure the box will not be hit by any object.
	When placing the tracker inside, the lights of the tracker should face opposite to the magnets.
	Do not place on a vehicle's exhaust.
	Do not place inside the wheel well.
	Do not attach to parts that move.
