So far preparing a foundation for greenhouses is the most practical way to extend the greenhouse lifespan. Consequently, we at Quictent highly recommend you do this right from the beginning. In this chapter, we will introduce the details to pre- pare a soil foundation.

Before you move on with the installation, we have some tips which ONLY apply to the installation with a prepared soil foundation. Tip 1: Please make sure the whole frame stands firmly. A tilted or wobbly structure is NOT allowed. Tip 2: After laying the frame poles into the foundation, please make sure the soil around is firm and compact.

Assembly Steps Before the assembly, please check to make sure that you have all parts listed on the Parts List. The steps below are for a regular assembly, that is, without a prepared founda- tion. For more details about the foundation preparation, please refer to the pre- vious chapter Soil Foundation Preparation carefully.

Frame Step 1 Lay the bottom of the frame. As shown, you’ll use the following poles: 2 x Part #2 6 x Part #3 2 x Part #4 2 x Part #5 Reminders: You are NOT required to tighten all the joints in this step. Step 2 Attach the poles (#6, #6-1, #7, and #8) to the bottom frame.

Step 3 Form the tunnel. The poles you’ll use are: 20 x Part #1 2 x Part #2 6 x Part #3 Reminders: 1. To keep a balance, please firstly finish assembling the first two layers of the top tunnel from the opening. Take the following for an example, you should firstly finish connecting the poles (2 x #2, 2 x #3) at both sides, then add the 8 x poles (#1), see Fig.

Step 4 Reinforce the tunnel with the 3 x poles (#2) and 9 x poles (#3). Reminders: 1. To better protect the cover, please make sure all the ends of the poles (#2 & #3) are in the front of the ends of the poles (#1) at each joint. Please make sure you have tightened all the screws at each joint.

Maintenance To help you maintain your mini greenhouse in optimal condition and for longer service life, please refer to our suggestions below: Please clean up snow or accumulated water in time, or the greenhouse may break due to overloading. Please secure the cover at all times by tying all the Velcro or ropes inside and fixing the extended part of the cover with extra weights (soil, bricks, stones, sandbags, etc.) When high winds blow, please open all the doors and windows to let the winds...
