INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION SAFETY
- Inspect the installation area for safety hazards.
- Be sure to remove all metal such as rings and other jewelry.
- Disconnect all power sources and ensure solar panels are completely covered by a
box or blanket until installation is done.
INSTALLATION TOOLS
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Flat Head Screwdriver
- Drill
- 7/16" Wrench
- 1" Step Drill Bit
- 3/16" Drill Bit

01 Insert each of the four T-nuts to
the omni-mount channel where you
want to install your mounting feet.
*one T-nut per mounting foot
02 Attach mounting feet to
panels using the T-nuts provided.
Use the image at left for reference.
Repeat the process four times on
Mounting
each panel.

  • Page 2 Set panels with feet attached on the roof to 2 inch clear area locate the best mounting position. Position panel at least 2 inches away from any other roof Example top mounting locations items. Mark the locations where your feet connect with the roof, then set the panel aside.

    Using a 1-inch step bit, create the opening for the wire harness to pass through by removing the plastic “wafer” on the base of the roof cap. *There are alternative ports on the left and right sides to the interior of the cap for use in different scenarios which allow for more customization.
  • Page 4 B - MOUNTING WITH VHB TAPE B-08 Find an area on the roof to mount your roof cap. Drill a hole no smaller than 1/2 Inch to allow for wiring access. (Deburring the hole is recommended.) Once the hole is made, feed the included 10’ wire harness through from the inside and secure respectively to the positive and negative terminals housed within the roof cap.
  • Page 5 12 Locate the terminals on the bottom of your charge controller. 13 Connecting Battery Connect the negative and positive wires (controller to battery) to the corresponding terminals on the bottom of your charge controller (with the battery icon) using a flat head screwdriver.
  • Page 6 16 Attach the fuse block assembly to the positive terminal on the battery. Place the fuse block on the terminal and slide the flat washer over the post. Slide the positive wire from the controller over the post on top of the washer.
  • Page 7 C Push remote display into mounted plate to secure to the wall. Display should mimic the ZS-60A display. 17 Connecting Solar Connect the positive and negative wires (roof cap to controller) to the corresponding terminal on the bottom of your charge controller REMOTE (with the solar panel icon).

    19 Connect the ATP Quick connect lead wire from the solar panels to both of the open ports on the roof cap. 20 Remove any previously applied covering from solar panels. 21 After connecting, verify that the controller is not displaying any errors. Follow your manual to set up your battery profiles.
