As an example, suppose a guitarist wants to record a practice session. They would plug their electric guitar into an INPUT jack on the dADB and then plug a cable from the corresponding THRU jack to their guitar amplifier. Their buffered guitar signal could then be sent to a mixing console or recording device from the associated OUTPUT of the dADB.
