This instruction sheet provides you with the information required
to safely own and operate your product. Retain these instructions
for future reference.
The product you have purchased is of the highest quality
workmanship and material, and has been engineered to give you
long and reliable service. This product has been carefully tested,
inspected, and packaged to ensure safe delivery and operation.
Please examine your item(s) carefully to ensure that no damage
occurred during shipment. If damage has occurred, please
contact the place of purchase. They will assist you in replacement
or repair, if required.

SAFeTY GUIDeLINeS
1. Make certain that the unit is disconnected from the power
source before attempting to service or remove any component.
2. Do not use to pump flammable or explosive fluids such as
gasoline, fuel oil, kerosene, etc. Do not use in explosive
atmospheres. Pump should only be used with liquids
compatible with pump component materials.
3. Do not handle pump with wet hands or when standing on wet
or damp surface or in water.
4. This pump is supplied with a grounding conductor and/or
grounding type attachment plus. To reduce the risk of electric
shock be certain that it is connected to a properly grounded
grounding type receptacle.
5. The National Electric Code (in the USA) and similar codes
in other countries require a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
(GFCI) to be installed in the branch circuit supplying fountain
equipment rated above 15 volts. Franklin Electric recommends
that each pump be used with a GFCI.
6. Do not allow children or infants to play near the fountain due
to drowning hazard.
eLeCTRICAL CONNeCTIONS
1. Check the pump label for proper voltage required. Do not
connect to voltage other than that shown.
2. If the pump is supplied with a 3-prong electrical plug, the third
prong is to ground the pump to prevent possible electrical
shock hazard. DO NOT REMOVE the third prong from the
plug. Do not use an extension cord.
3. There is an adjustment on the pump to regulate the flow
of water.

ASSeMBLY AND OPeRATION
1. Remove fountain assembly and all packaging from box and
place on a smooth flat surface. Please not that suction cups
and adapter are not required for this application and therefore
are not included.
2. Remove ornamental pump from basin with mounting bolts and
remove packaging.
3. Locate flexible tubing on ornamental pump and feed tubing
through center hole on shelf.
4. Locate electric pump in the basin and attach the flexible tubing
to the discharge of the pump.
5. Fill the basin with water until the electric pump is fully
submersed.
6. Align the ornamental pump on the cauldron and loosen the
mounting bolts so that the ornamental pump can stand flat on
the top surface Thread the mounting bolts into mounting holes
using a wrench. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN..
7. Connect the electric pump to power and allow approximately
20 seconds for water to begin flowing
8. Use the adjustment on the pump to regulate the flow of water.
MAINTeNANCe
1. Do not allow the pump to run without water or to freeze.
2. Clean fountain only with water and, if desired, use only
a tablespoon of chlorine to prevent algae. DO NOT USE
BLEACH. It may tarnish the applied finish.

CORReCTIVe ACTION
Check power outlet. Refer to manu-
facturer's instructions.
Check for kinks in the tube. Make
sure pump is submerged. Make sure
pump is free of debris.
