the quick reference guide is only valid in conjunction with the operating manual.
 CAUTION! Risk of crushing in the movement area of the pipetting head. Do not reach
into the movement area of the device during the pipetting cycle.
Main components and operating elements:

Rotary knob (5), for adjusting the height of the pipetting head

Explanation
Repeated flushing of the pipette tips, with blowout. Source plate = target plate
Aspiration of a defined volume; dispension with blowout. Mixing cycles are possible.
Diluting: aspiration of a defined volume of sample + air bubble + diluent. Dispension with
blowout.
Aspiration of total volume + additional volume. Dispension in several sub-steps.
At the end: dispension of residual volume into reservoir, with blowout.
For small volumes, foaming or (highly) viscous liquids.
Aspiration of a defined volume + additional volume. Dispension of volume. Up to 20 repetitions
possible. At the end: dispension of residual volume into source plate or reservoir.
Aspiration of a defined volume. Dispension into a prepared diluent volume.
Performing mixing cycles. Required: tip magazine with 8 or 16 tips per column.
Motorized release of the tip holder with Change Tips command.
Motorized tightening and sealing of the new tip holder.
Repeating the last pipetting steps with Move and Pipetting / "move + pip" (without saving).
Or: saving of pipetting cycles as parameter sets. After loading the parameter sets, the
semi-automatic routines can be repeated any number of times.
} Switch the device on at the on/off switch on the rear. Confirm and wait for initialization to
complete.
} Select the pipetting mode in the main menu. Set the desired parameters, e.g., pipetting speed.
} Press Start to start the pipetting cycle.
} Insert the source plate or reservoir and adjust the aspiration height with the rotary knob.
} Press Pipetting on the touchscreen or "pip" on the left device foot.
} Move the pipette tips out of the plate. End the cycle by pressing Pipetting / "pip".
} Insert the source plate or reservoir and adjust the aspiration height with the rotary knob.
} To aspirate, press Pipetting on the touchscreen or "pip" on the left device foot.
} Move the pipetting head up using the rotary knob and insert the target plate.
Adjust the dispensing height.
} To dispense, press Pipetting / "pip".
} Move the pipette tips out of the plate. End the cycle by pressing Pipetting / "pip".
