Use this knob to adjust the volume of the assigned ME group. The ME GROUP is user selectable through the Group Setup menu. On a Livemix Pro Duo, this function works regardless of which mix is “in control” and displayed on the screen. Access to ME VOLUME will always be available.
AUX IN Accessory Channel. The AUX IN Accessory channel can be setup in the ACCESSORY SETUP menu item. The AUX IN channel is only available to Livemix Pro Duo or Livemix Pro Solo users. It can, however, be published back to the Dante Network if needed.

Beneath the mix name is the port identifier. This refers to the MIX PORT on the front of the Livemix PRO-16 or Livemix PRO- 32. Each MIX PORT has a MIX A and a MIX B. On a Livemix PRO DUO, MIX A is the blue mix and the MIX B is red. On a Livemix PRO SOLO or SOLO MD, the A mix is the first plugged in unit and the B mix is the daisy-chained unit (see the MIX PORT section for more information).

MIC (PRO SOLO MD ONLY) The white MIC icon will display when an external microphone is connected and active. AB (PRO DUO ONLY) A blue AB icon indicates the A and B mixes are linked. In this mode both sets of controls will control MIX A (blue). When a USB flash drive is connected to the personal mixer, a white USB icon will appear.
CHANNEL CELLS The Channel Cell shows important information about each individual channel in the Livemix Pro system. In the Channel View, every personal mixer in the system will have the same channels in the same location. NOTE: Use Group View to place channels in groups for easier mixing for high channel count systems.
ACCESSORY CHANNELS In addition to the 64 channels, Livemix Pro features four built-in Accessory Channels. AMBIENT MICROPHONE A built in ambient microphone can add some room noise to the mix reducing the closed off feeling some users experience when using in -ear monitors.
LIVEMIX PRO AND DANTE Livemix Pro receives audio from a Dante Network. For information on routing channels to Livemix Pro from Dante, please see the Livemix Pro-16/32 User Guide. Mixes made on Livemix Pro personal mixers will automatically be published to the Dante network. Port 1A will appear on Transmit channels 1 and 2 (left on 1, right on 2).

You might set up a group with the lead vocal, MD, kick, snare, hi-hats, acoustic guitar, bass, and YOU. Non-essential channels can go in other groups that might be categorized by instrument or vocal type (keys, backing vocals, etc.) Once you setup the group mix volumes, you might want to stay on the EXPANDED VIEW where you just see the channels you put in the “essentials”...
NAVIGATING LIVEMIX PRO Livemix is designed to be incredibly simple to use with deeper features for professionals. Some of these deeper features can be accessed with longer presses on the touchscreen or knobs. PRESS A single PRESS on the touchscreen or knobs. LONG PRESS A LONG PRESS is a longer two second press on the touchscreen or knob.

SINGLE CHANNEL VIEW The SINGLE CHANNEL VIEW is a detailed view of one channel at a time. It is helpful for setting up a channel and allows you to solo, mute and add reverb to a channel. The Single Channel View displays: CHANNEL NAME Name of the channel.
GROUP MIX MODE VS. CHANNEL MIX MODE Depending on the number of channels and user preference, either CHANNEL MIX VIEW or GROUP MIX VIEW can be set as the default view mode. The default view mode determines where the user is returned to when pressing the HOME icon. In CHANNEL MIX MODE, pressing the HOME icon returns the user to the Channel Mix View.
To load a mix: Select one of the 32 locations (use the Slots 17-32 button in the right hand menu area to access slots 17-32) to load a mix. If loading from a USB Flash Drive, PRESS the SWITCH TO USB button in the right hand menu area to access the 32 locations on the USB Flash Drive.
MIX TOOLS MIX TOOLS contains all the LOCAL and GLOBAL settings for Livemix Pro. When MIX TOOLS is pressed, the first menu contains the tools necessary for configuring the local personal mixer. The SETTINGS (gear icon) contains the GLOBAL setup options and should only be used by those familiar with whole Livemix Pro system.
REVERB CHANNELS MIX TOOLS >REVERB CHANNELS Reverb can be added to each of the available channels. On the Reverb Channel Selection screen, press the cell for each channel that should have reverb. The channels with reverb active will be blue. Use the “Select All”...

To MirrorMix a remote personal mixer: Select the remote mixer to connect to. The selected cell will have a white border, and the top status bar will turn orange. Press the REMOTE MIX PORT ## (## will be the port number) button in the right hand menu area.
SHARE VOLUME/PAN This will send all the volume and pan settings from the currently loaded mix on the local personal mixer to all selected remote units. Select the remote mixes to connect to. PRESS the SHARE VOLUME/PAN in the right side menu area. SHARE SAVED MIX To share a saved mix from the local personal mixer to the remote mixes: Select the remote mixes to connect to.

PHANTOM POWER PRESS the ON button to supply 48V phantom power to the microphone for use with condenser microphones. HIGH PASS FILTER PRESS the ON button to activate a High Pass Filter, reducing low end rumble and stage noise. INTERCOM BUTTON Set the desired function of the Intercom button when using an External Microphone.
BACKUP LOCAL MIXES MIX TOOLS > SETTINGS (GEAR) > UTILITIES >BACKUP LOCAL MIXES Livemix Pro allows the saving of all 32 of the Internal Local Mix slots to a USB Flash Drive. This allows backup of the Local Mixes and is helpful if switching to a different Livemix Pro system.
REVERB The Reverb settings control the amount and style of reverb applied to the channels with reverb active. Use the ADJUST knob to change the REVERB AMOUNT. Select the type of Reverb by selecting OFF, Small Room, Medium Room, or Large Room. OUTPUT CONFIG In the Master Output Config, users can set the Peak Limiter and select output options.

EFFECTS PRESETS Effects Presets are designed to be subtle adjustment to the channel. Keep in mind that Channel Effects are GLOBAL and changes made to one channel will affect how it sounds for everyone. PRESS the EFFECT PRESET button in the Channel Effects Menu area. Use the ADJUST knob to scroll through the presets.
CHANNEL NAMING MIX TOOLS > SETTINGS (GEAR) > CHANNEL SETUP > CHANNEL NAMING This is a global function and will apply to all connected Livemix Pro personal mixer units. Changing a channel name on any Livemix Pro personal mixer will change that channel name for all mixers in the system.
IMPORT FROM DANTE Livemix Pro can import Dante channel labels to be used as channel names. In the Dante Controller DEVICE VIEW, navigate to the TRANSMIT tab for the devices that you will connect to Livemix Pro. Name each channel in the Transmit Channels section. In Dante Controller, route the desired channels to the Livemix Pro 16/32.
ACCESSORY CHANNEL PUBLISH TO DANTE MIX TOOLS > SETTINGS (GEAR) > CHANNEL SETUP > ACC PUBLISH Livemix Pro automatically makes personal mixes available to the Dante Network. For example, Port 1A will publish the Left side of the stereo mix to Dante channel 1 and the Right side to channel 2. Port 1B will be on Dante channels 3 and 4.
PROTECT GLOBAL SETUP When Protect Global Setup Update is selected, Livemix Pro requires a passcode to enter the global menu (settings gear). PROTECT GLOBAL MIRRORMIX When Protect Global MirrorMix Update is selected, Livemix Pro requires a passcode to enter the Global MirrorMix function.
INDIVIDUAL PRO SOLO OR PRO DUO UPDATE To update a single Livemix Pro Solo or Livemix Pro Duo, insert a USB Flash Drive with the firmware into the USB slot on the personal mixer. Remove the cable to turn off the power. PRESS and HOLD the Intercom button (or both Intercom buttons on the Pro Duo) and plug the cable back in.

UPDATE DA-8 UNITS To update connected Livemix DA-8 units, press the UPDATE DA-8 button. You will be prompted to enter a USB Flash Drive with the firmware update into the front panel USB port on the connected Livemix PRO-16/32. If two DA-8 units are connected, both will be updated.
SOFTROUTE MIX TOOLS > SETTINGS (GEAR) > SOFTROUTE Softroute™ is used to route personal mixes to the analog outputs of connected Livemix Pro DA-8 analog output units. NOTE: Softroute can easily switch the routing between mixes and outputs. For example, someone may have a guitar mix on a Livemix Pro DUO Mix A and a keyboard mix on Mix B.
GLOBAL DIM MIX TOOLS > SETTINGS (GEAR) >GLOBAL DIM Pressing the GLOBAL DIM button will reduce the brightness of all the personal mixers in the system, reducing light spillage when performers leave the stage. LOAD/SAVE CONFIG MIX TOOLS > SETTINGS (GEAR) > LOAD/SAVE CONFIG Global Configuration settings can be saved to one of 32 internal save slots.
SCREENSAVER To protect the screen from potential burn-in, a screensaver will automatically activate after 60 minutes of inactivity. Any button press, knob turn or touchscreen press will return the screen to the active state. SHORTCUTS AND NON-MENU FEATURES MASTER MUTE To mute the master output, LONG PRESS the MASTER VOLUME Knob.

TROUBLESHOOTING Verify that the shielded network cable is connected from a PRO-16/32 Mix Port to the MIX PORT on the PRO DUO/SOLO/SOLO MD. The light ring on the PRO 16/32 MIX PORT will light up blue when power is connected and the yellow light will light when there is a problem receiving infor- mation from the PRO-16/32.

The PRO DUO might be in the Linked Mode. PRESS and HOLD both MIX B on the Pro DUO doesn’t seem to be working. Master Volume knobs to exit Linked Mode or power cycle the personal mixer. Audible clicking and popping is usually an issue with the clock source. Verify that your console or Dante device is set to be the Leader and Livemix is set to be the Follower.
