    What is Party Print Connect Party Print Connect is a device that allows users of the Party Print system to provide wireless printing to any of the current DNP printers and connect to a TV or monitor to display a Party Print slideshow, eliminating the need to leave an open laptop to manage printing and slideshow presentations.

The installation wizard assists in connecting Party Print Connect with your Party Print account and manages printing and slideshow presentations. • Easy Setup! Party Print Connect identifies the printer and media type so you do not need to set up printer instances for each print size.

    Quick Start Plug in and power on your DNP printer. NOTE: Make sure the media is properly loaded in your DNP printer and there are no error lights flashing on the front of the printer. Connect Party Print Connect to your DNP printer using the provided USB printer cable. Any open USB port can be used.

    Setup Wizard When Party Print Connect is first started, the user is presented with a license agreement that must be accepted to use the product. Scroll to the bottom of the page to accept. Once the license agreement has been accepted, Party Print Connect will initiate a setup wizard that will step the user through connecting to the internet and activating Party Print Connect with their Party Print account.

    Once Party Print Connect has been associated with your account, Party Print will recognize the device. Any DNP printer or monitor can be connected to Party Print Connect and used to print or view all the great pictures added by the event guests! When you set up an event in Party Print be sure to associate the new hardware with your event for printing! This will be done in the event settings.

    Print Queue The print queue shows the last ten images that were sent to print using Party Print Connect. The print queue will indicate if a print is processing, has completed transfer to Party Print Connect, or if the print failed.

    Menu Review Main Menu The Main Menu is accessed from the menu bars in the upper left corner of the screen. PartyPrint The PartyPrint menu will provide a quick display showing the printer, media loaded, and remaining prints.   • Page 12 Print Sizes show all available print sizes available for the loaded media. Check the print sizes you want to be available when using the Party Print Connect. This can help keep the menu from becoming cluttered with print sizes that are not frequently used.

    Device The Device menu provides access to Party Print Connect information and settings menus. Device Info – provides system operating conditions that can be helpful in assessing the system’s well-being, including CPU usage, CPU temperature, RAM usage, and Disk space in use.

    Devices will be able to see available printers if the Ethernet connection is on the same network as the Wi-Fi network the devices are connected to. Note: The system may take a few seconds to detect network connection. This allows Party Print Connect to determine if the Ethernet connection is being used for networking or printing.

    You can reprint images as needed, download them View Images to a USB drive (inserted into the Party Print Connect), or delete the image(s). From the gallery, you can select one or all images to delete or save to a USB drive. You can select up to ten images for reprinting.

    Note: Using a WiFi SD Card will require the Party Print Connect to use a different IP address to avoid conflicts and will cause the Party Print Connect to reboot. The new Hotspot SSID to access the Party Print Connect portal will be 192.168.6.1.

    Borders refer to an overlay that can be applied to prints. Borders can be a frame that is printed around the picture or a business logo to promote your business. Party Print Connect has a few ready-to-use borders that can be selected, and custom borders can be created and uploaded.

    A hot folder can be set up for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows. To use a hot folder the device must be connected to Party Print Connect hotspot and have a DNP printer connected to Party Print Connect.

    You can copy image files into the desired print size folder, and it will print on the first available printer that supports the desired print size. If you have multiple printers connected to Party Print Connect and want the print to go to a specific printer, open the print size folder to see the connected printer.
