1) Please read these instructions carefully before commencing any work
2) Please retain these instructions for future reference
3) It is strongly recommended that this unit is installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the IEE wiring regula-
tions and building regulations
4) To prevent electrocution switch the power off at the mains supply before installing or maintaining this fitting
5) Ensure others cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge
6) The PSU must be rated 12VDC and be compatible with the pre-wired connector system of this product
7) Never exceed the wattage stated
8) Locate driver (IP20) in an unclassified zone
1) IMPORTANT: Before installation of any flexible LED strip, the surface to which it is being installed upon must be cleaned
with white spirit or similar to ensure adhesion.
2) FLEXILE LED strip can installed using the mounting clips provided, by applying 3M tape, or by fitting into an aluminium
profile
3) The strip is pre-wired with a cable and connector at each end to allow any cut off pieces to be re-used.
4) The strip has a bending diameter of 150 mm
5) The strip cannot be twisted, dropped or left hanging
6) Locate in desired location and make sure that each cable/connector can be connected to a relevant PSU.
7) Ensure the strip is secure along its length
8) Restore power and test for operation
1) The strip can be cut to length, at approximately 20mm intervals , and the end cap should be glued to the cut end to
retain its IP rating
2) The strips can be butted together for a seamless connection
1) Please note this fitting has non replaceable parts
2) Always switch off or disconnect from the mains when cleaning the product.
3) We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Do not use scourers, abrasives or chemical cleaners.
4) Do not allow moisture to come into contact with electrical parts
5) This luminaire should not be disposed of with normal household rubbish. When a replacement is purchased, this lumi-
naire should be returned to the retailer to safely dispose of (WEEE Directive effective July 2006—Waste from Electrical
& Electronic Equipment.
