Note: Memory 1 or 2 is dependent on the RKE transmitter being used and the key being in the ignition during programming. See the back of your RKE transmitter for the corresponding memory number.
Unless REMOTE RECALL (see Personalization Guide) has been turned OFF, unlocking with the key fob will recall the settings.
Set EXIT Position
With vehicle in PARK (P), adjust driver seat (including recliner) and the power tilt/telescoping steering wheel (if so equipped) to desired exit position.
Three-Button Memory Systems
If your vehicle is equipped with the three button memory system, follow these procedures to set the memory: With the vehicle in Park (P) adjust the driver's seat including lumbar support and recliner, outside rearview mirror positions, climate control and audio settings and (if equipped) power tilt/telescoping steering wheel position.
Set EXIT Position
These settings can be restored by pressing the Memory 1 or 2 button on the driver's door (shown above), or by using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. The vehicle memory settings will correspond to the number on the RKE: 1 or 2.
Your vehicle may have heated or heated and cooled seats. The buttons are located on the driver and front passenger door armrests.
The button with the heat lines through just the seatback turns on the heated seatback.
The button with heat lines through both the seatback and seat cushion turns on the heated seatback and seat cushion.
The button with the snow flake above the seat turns on the cooled seatback and seat cushion.
There are three temperature settings for each of the features above.
A light bar on the controls will display which setting the feature is in: high, medium or low. The longest bar shows the high range and the shortest bar shows the low range.
When you press a button, the feature will turn on the highest setting. Each time you press the button, the feature will go down one temperature setting.
To turn the feature off, keep pressing the button until the display lights turn off.
This feature uses ultrasonic sensors in your bumper to help determine how close an object is to your rear bumper.
Both a variable audible chime and three color coded lights (located inside your vehicle above the rear window) convey your distance to an object.
URPA activates automatically when your vehicle is shifted into Reverse (R) and your vehicle speed is less than 3 mph (5 km/h).
Disable URPA
To disable URPA, press the URPA on/off button located near the climate control system and radio.
This feature helps you see better at night — beyond the headlamps — by sensing heat given off by objects in its field of view.
Warmer objects such as pedestrians, animals and other moving vehicles will appear white. Colder objects, such as the sky, signs and parked vehicles, will appear darker.
The controls are located on the lower-left side of the instrument panel. They can be used to adjust the brightness and location of the image.
You can personalize many of your DeVille's features to your own needs.
