The recommended mounting height for the iXT is approximately 60” (150 cm) from floor to the center of iXT. The device can be installed at a slightly different height optimized for the height of the average user of the facility. Unzip the file and copy both files (*.bin, *.info) to root folder of the USB stick. • Insert the USB stick to the bottom of iXT USB Type A socket while iXT is powered on. • On the LCD screen, select Setting → Network → USB Memory and tap USB enable.
Page 15 • If files are accepted, click OK, and iXT will upgrade the firmware and reboot automatically. Note: this type of upgrade via device menu can ONLY be performed to a NEWER version than what is installed in the device. Upgrade via EIS allows installing any version, newer, older or the same.
