- Light sensor: The component has three functions, photo—sensing, proximity sensor, gesture recognition.
- Photo—sensing: Automatically detect the intensity of the ambient light, and adjust the brightness of the screen depending on the ambient light to make it convenient for you to use the mobile phone.
- Proximity sensor: When you are calling out, the component will detect the distance between you and the mobile phone automatically. If you or other objects are too close to the mobile phone, the mobile phone will turn off the screen to avoid triggering certain functions by mistake. The function is inactive in the headset and handsfree mode.
- Earpiece: Listen when answering a call.
- Touch screen: Using a mobile phone touch screen makes it easier to select items or perform functions. Please read the following precautions:
- To avoid scratching the touch screen, do not use sharp tools.
- Do not let the touch screen contact other electronic devices. Electrostatic discharges can cause the touch screen to malfunction.
- Do not let touch screen contact water, it may malfunction in a humid environment or exposure to water.
- Power button
- Long press this key to turn on the phone. Long press the button in the boot state, the phone pops up the option menu, you can shut down or carry other operations. In the call state, click on the button to make the screen go to sleep and save power; press the power button to light up the screen.
- In any state, shortly click on the button to lock the screen, the screen turns off, but still allowed to call. (except several interfaces).
- USB interface: Can be connected to the charger, computers and other devices via USB cable.
- Headset jack: Connecting headphones.
- Rear/Front camera: Photo/Video.
- Flash: Fill light when recording or taking photos; torch light.
- Card tray: Install/Remove the cards.
- Pin port: Insert the pin into the pin jack on the side body, and press it inwards to eject the card tray.
- Volume buttons: Adjust volume.
- Speaker: Play sound.
- Microphone: Transfer sound during a call.
Standby state
The native state of standby refers to when the phone is ready, available, and you are not to make any operation.

The installation and preparation of mobile phones
Procedure for installing SIM/SD card
- Place the phone front face up, insert the pin into the pin hole on side body, and press it inwards to eject the card tray.
- Remove the tray.
- Place the SIM/SD card metal face down. Align the beveled corners on the card and the tray, and place the card into the tray.
- Then put the installed card and the card tray into the phone, properly install.
Note: Your phone is equipped with built in battery, do not disassemble.
Charge the phone, connect the headset
- lnsert the end of the USB cable into the phones USB interface and the other end of the USB cable to the charger or compatible device, start charging. When charging is completed, disconnect the phone from the charger or the compatible connected device and remove the charger from the outlet.
- Plug the headphones into the phone's headphone jack, make sure it fits.
Antenna
Your phone has an internal antenna. When the antenna is transmitting or receiving, do not touch the antenna if it's necessary. Any contacts with antennas will affect the communication quality and may cause the phone to operate at a higher power level, and may shorten battery life. Avoid holding the phone in the antenna area.
Desktop Management
You can be in a random layout various kinds of icons and widgets on the screen. Long press on any icon or pendant on the desktop to enter edit mode, then drag the icon to move. If drag an icon onto another icon, you can automatically create a folder. Gently slide your finger around the screen, you can switch to different screens. Enter in "i Theme", you can replace the scene, desktop themes, wallpaper, unlock style, sliding screen effect, set the font type for the phone. Slide down the notification bar, you can display a notification message. Sliding upward from the bottom of the screen to bring up the shortcut bar, you can use this feature to quickly find recently used programs and shortcuts.
Note: In the "i Theme",turn on the phone's network connection before download the theme "online".
Mobile phone
In standby mode, click the "telephone", enter the phone number you want to call, if there are two SIM card in the phone, select card SIMI or SIM2 dial the number. If you have saved contact's phone number in the contact list, enter several phone number figures of the contactor or type alphabet names of the contactor, the phone will match up relevant information, select the contact, slide from left to right to make a call.
Message
In standby mode, enter the "Message" interface, message list displays received messages. Long press a piece of information, to carry relative operations; press the Menu, open the Options menu, you can set the phone. Press
, you can write a new message.ln the message editing interface, click on "switch" to enter the input method; click "Settings" to set vivo input method in detailed settings. Please refer to the instructions in "Setting —> language&lnput" about the detailed description of the input method.
In standby mode, enter "contacts" interface, you can "dial—up, view contacts, groups, and individuals". Press the Menu button, carry relative operations in the pop-up dialog box. Click
, establish new contacts; click "edit", tick the contacts, share vCard of the selected contact with friends, send messages, or delete the contact.
Browser
The device uses a WLAN or cellular data network to access the Internet. If the WLAN and cellular data networks open simultaneously, preferentially using a WLAN. Please refer to the manual "Settings -> WLAN' and "Settings —> Network." When browsing the web, adjust manually according to the size of the screen, zoom in or out the page by double—clicking the screen.
Note: To use this feature, first enable the phone's network connection.
Calendar
Use this feature to view the calendar and create a calendar reminder, the phone will automatically alert when time is up.
i Manager
i Manager is a security management tool of vivo that provides you One Touch Optimize, Phone cleaning, Date monitor, App manager, Power manager, Rejection, Privacy. To create safe, green mobile life for you. Enter "i Manager" interface, you can operate the various functions.
i Theme
You can use this feature to change the theme style for the phone. "i Theme" provides you a variety of styles for you to use. If you want to download more themes, enter "i Theme" interface, click on "online" to download and use, the downloaded themes will be saved to the "local" theme.
i Music
In standby mode, click on the "i Music" into the "i Music" list interface, then click the "song", select a song you like to listen. In the music player interface, you can put relative settings for the music player.
Video
The phone is compatible with a more comprehensive video formats. Click on a video file to playback, tap the player interfacet o display the hidden buttons. Click
, shrink the video window and add it to your desktop; click
, turn on/off lock Menu key, Home button and Back button.
Alarm Clock
You can use this function to set the alarm, world clock, stopwatch and timer; in the "Alarm" screen, click on the top right corner of the screen, to create a new alarm clock.
Settings
You can use this feature to customize the device's running state and variety patterns of networking connection.
- Offline mode: If turn on offline mode, the phone will disconnect the connection between the data and wireless networks. At this point, the phone can not send or receive any radio signal, can not receive calls or send messages either.
- WLAN: Open the WLAN, the phone will automatically search around wireless network, select the appropriate network (encrypted network requires a password, public network without a password). In order to save GPRS traffic costs, We recommend you make use of WLAN as much as possible.
- Personal hotspot
- USB Mobile Network Sharing: You can turn on this feature via a USB cable to bound the phone and the computer, so share your phone's Internet connection with computer (Before using this feature, you need to install the appropriate drivers on the computer, and using USB to connect the phone to the computer).
- Portable WLAN Hotspots: You can set the phone to WLAN access points after enable the function; thus sharing the phone's Internet connection to one or more computers or other devices. (your computer need to configure the wireless card).
- Configure WLAN hotspots: Local network SSID, security and password are all defaulted, you can manually change (You're recommended using the default configuration), tick the "Show password" to view the password.
- Help: This device provides instructions of personal hotspot for your reference.
Sharing a mobile network will generate GPRS traffic costs, please use this feature with caution. - Network: Display the currently mobile phone network conditions. If you are using a SIM card, you need to turn off the WLAN. If WLAN and cellular data are turned on simultaneously, the phone will preferentially login WLAN.
- Virtual Private Network settings: For some sites are blocked, you can access through a virtual private network. Click on "Virtual Private Network settings", then follow the tips to select and enter the relevant information, user name and password of the private network.
- Sound: To personalize the sound system of the phone.
- Brightness: Set the brightness of the screen.
- Wallpaper and font: Set for wallpaper/unlock mode/font.
- Phone: You can use this function to set the phone.
- Answer&hang-up feedback: After opening this function, dial the number; the opposite side answer and hang up; phone will prompt vibration.
- Flip mute: When phone rings, flip phone, cell phone ring tones will be closed.
- Reject with SMS: When you reject the other party's phone, you can reply a text message to him.
- Call waiting: Enable this feature when there is an incoming call during a call, the phone will give you a hint.
- Call forwarding: This function can forward the incoming calls to a designated phone number. Tap one, enter the forwarding number; press the "Enable" button.
- Call barring: After opening the function, the answering and outbound functionality of the mobile phone will be limited, you can set the restricted conditions and extent as needed; enter a password when open the function.
- Other call settings:
- Voicemail: Voicemail service is provided from the Telecom for sector to the user to save, forward and extract voice messages. you can apply your own voice mailbox number and password in Telecom.
Note: This feature requires network support, please contact your network carrier about the details. - Fixed dialing: If your SIM card has this feature, you can apply fixed dialing function. If you enable this feature, you can only call numbers saved in the "FDN list". Setting the PIN2 code is required.
- SIM card application: The feature is offered by the carrier, please consult the carrier.
- Accounts&Sync: Open the "Auto—sync", if there is any change of the network, the updated messages will be displayed on the phone and the phone will automatically begin synchronization, and vice versa. Click on "Add account" and select the account you want to add.
- Timing tasks: Use this feature, you can set the phone, to boot/power off at a specified time. You can also set "Scheduled vibration, Scheduled off—line, Countdown vibration" timing task.
- More settings: You can set the phone's other projects.
- About the phone: You can view the phone's usage time, version information, legal information and other information about phone system.
- Bluetooth: Bluetooth allows quick sharing of documents. Bluetooth is on, the phone will automatically search for available Bluetooth devices around.
Note: When you search for Bluetooth devices, you may need to enter the same password for Bluetooth devices; Bluetooth headsets need a password when it is paired with some Bluetooth headsets. Bluetooth headsets password and operations can be found in relevant data. In some occasions, using Bluetooth wireless may be restricted. Please consult your local authorities or service provider. - Media Share: Open the "Shared Local Media" feature, you can use the device supports DLNA device to play the media file.
- Safety: Set security settings for the phone screen, guest mode and SIM card.
- Location: When using navigation function, please turn on "Location", select "Wi—Fi" or "Use GPS satellite".
- Auto—lock: Set time needed for the phone to lock screen when stop operating the mobile.
- Indicator: You can set for the indicator.
- Date&Time: Set the date and time of the device.
- Storage: View the phone's memory, format the phone storage. Before formatting the phone, make sure that you have backed up important data. The data stored on the phone will be all clear after formatting.
- Applications: You can check application state, and manage it.
- Backup and Reset: You can back up and restore the phone, the application data, WLAN passwords and other settings backed up to GoogleTM servers, as well as restore the phone to factory settings.
- After—sales service: You can view all service center addresses and service hotlines in the country.
- Smart motion: You can set various functions.
Camera
Enter into the "camera" interface, touch the screen quickly focus.ln the camera interface, you can also take pictures pressing" volume keys photos.
Video camera
To record high-definition video, please enter "Camera", adjust the CameraNideo button as the picture shown below, click on the middle button to start the video recording, click
to start recording, click
to stop recording and save the video.
Album
You can view photos.
The "Tool" is equipped with a variety of tools for everyday use to facilitate your life. In editing mode, you can drag other icons to the Tool on the Desktop, please refer to the "desktop management".
Calculators
Tap numbers and functions, just as you use a standard calculator. Click plus, minus, multiply or divide button, the button status changed to let you know the operation to be performed. Slide to the right in the display box after entering the data to remove a data bit. You can rotate the phone in landscape orientation or slide to the left to display scientific calculator.
Memo
You can use the memo freely to record notes around.
Recorder
You can use this feature to record scenes you want to save. Click to open

to enter the recording file list.
vivoCloud
Using "vivoCloud", you can back up the data to the mobile terminal vivo network server, you can restore data from a network server to the mobile. Before using contacts, text messages, browser bookmarks, cloud disk, you need to register or log in a vivo account, click "Account Settings" to login.
Note: Before using this function, please turn on the phone's network connection.
E-mail
Enter e—mail address and password to create personal account, send and receive E—mail.
Document File
Go to "File Manager" menu, you can manage the folders in the category. Long press a folder to carry related operations.
System Update
You can upgrade the phone through online phone upgrading system, convenient and fast. First open WI-AN or mobile network, then go to "Settings> System Upgrade", the phone will automatically detect the new version of the software, download and install.
Note: Any system installation or system upgrade carried out not by the vivo company may cause security risk, we recommend that before you upgrade, first back up important data in the phone storage. System upgrade incurs large network traffics, before using this feature, open the phone's network connection.
In order to safely and effectively use the phone, please read the followings before using it.
Children and pets
Keep the phone and headset, SIM cards, chargers and other small parts out of reach of children and pets. If they are mistakenly swallowed by the children and pets, it may cause choking or other hazards. Children need to have parents or other guardians accompanied when using the phone.
Operating environment
- Your phone is not waterproof, please keep it dry. Water or other liquids enter into the phone will cause malfunction.
- Do notuse the phone at environments such as high temperature, high humidity, hard light, strong electromagnetic fields.
- Parts of the device are magnetic, metallic materials may be adsorbed to the phone. Do not let the credit cards or other magnetic storage medium near the device in case of stored information demagnetization.
- Turn off the phone at the place where may exist explode and obey all the instructions both in texts or graphs. You are suggested to turn off your vehicle engine at the potentially explosive areas including places which are suggested to turn off the car engine under normal circumstances. In such places, sparks could cause explosion or fire disaster, thus resulting in bodily injury or even death. Please turn off your cell phone in a gas station, for example: near gas pumps at gas stations. Please follow the rules of using specified radio equipment at fuel depots (fuel storage and distribution areas), chemical plants or blasting operations areas. Potentially hazardous explosive area are often clearly marked. (but not all places have such label). These areas include: below the deck on boats, chemical transfer or storage facilities and regions contain chemicals or particles in the air: (such as particles, dust or metal powder). Please refer to car manufacturers using liquefied petroleum gas (such as propane and butane) to make sure whether your mobile can be used near the car.
- To avoid interfering blasting operations, turn off your phone at the detonator blasting area or at the places "turn off your mobile phone" is affixed. If there are other similar signs or instructions, please also observe.
Hospitals and medical equipment
Any radio transmitting equipment operations (including your phone) may cause interference to the functionality of inadequately protected medical devices. Any questions or uncertainties about whether the medical equipment can adequately shield external rf energy, please consult physician or medical device manufacturers. Turn off your mobile phone at the hospital or health care area where are expressly stipulated to shut down the equipment. Hospitals or health care facilities may use devices which are sensitive to external if energy.
- Pacemakers, implantation of an implantable defibrillator: When you open the phone, you should always keep a distance more than 6 inches (about 16 cm) between the phone and the instrument. Do not put your phone in your coat pocket. In order to reduce the potential interference, please use the phone on the other side. Switch off the phone immediately if you suspect any interference.
- Hearing aids, cochlear implants: Sorne digital wireless devices may cause interference to hearing aids or cochlear implants. If this kind of interference arises, please contact the manufacturer to find a solution.
- Other medical equipments: If you and people around you are also using other medical equipments, please consult the manufacturer of the devices to confirm whether they are adequately shielded from RF signals. You can also consult the doctor about relevant information.
Automobile and traffic safety
- Radio—frequency signal may affect electronic systems which are installed or improper shielded in motor vehicles, such as: electronic injection system, electronic antiskid braking systems (anti lock), electronic speed control systems, air bag systems. For more information, check with the manufacturer or the agent of the additional installed equipments.
- Only qualified person will be allowed to repair the phone or install the device in a vehicle. False installation or repair may be dangerous and may disable the warranty.
- Driving is your primary task when you drive, please pay attention to traffic safety. If you use your phone while driving, you should comply with the relevant provisions of the region or the country.
- When you board an airplane, turn off your cell phone as required. Follow the crew Is instructions if you use your phone.
Emergency calls
Same with other wireless telephone, the machine operates using radio signals, wireless and terrestrial networks, therefore, we can not guarantee that your phone can be connected under no circumstances. So, you should not rely solely on the wireless device for important communications (eg: medical care). Steps to make an emergency call: open the phone, enter the official emergency number of your country or region in standby mode, and make a call. Some networks may require a valid SIM card properly inserted into the phone. Different regions have different emergency telephone numbers. When the phone is in offline mode, first switch to the normal mode. For more information, contact your network operator. When making an emergency call, give all the necessary information as accurately as possible. In the scene of an accident, your phone may be the only means of communication. Please do not hang up the phone without permission.
Battery Precautions
- The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, and it will eventually lose efficacy. When the phone's talk time and standby times are noticeably shorter, you need a new battery.
- The phone's battery is a built-in battery, do not disassemble. Please contact your local vivo service center if repair is needed.
- Avoid putting battery in the high temperature place in case of battery leakage, overheating, explosion and fire.
- Do not disassemble the phone or refit the built-in battery. Built-in battery can not be put in strong mechanical shock place, do not puncture battery with hard objects, otherwise it will lead to leakage, overheating, explosion and fire of the built-in battery.
- It is forbidden to disassemble, crush, heat or burn the built-in battery (battery and cell phone as one), do not use sharp objects, such as screwdriver to touch, pry the battery. Operations above may cause fire or burning to the battery.
- Do not use the phone at a very low temperature, you can not get the maximum standby/talk time in the low temperature; in order to ensure your safety, please not keep the phone exposed to environment temperatures lower than -20ºC or above 45ºC.
- Phone is not waterproof, do not use the phone or charge the phone in hot and humid place such as kitchen, bathroom.
- Do not put together the phone and the combustibles (eg: bedside, clothes, books, etc.) when charging the phone, in case of causing a fire.
Chargers Precautions
- Please use the charger indoors. In order to ensure your safety, use the charger at temperatures between 0ºC~35ºC.
- Do not answer or make phone calls when charging the phone. Do not use the travel charger to charge the phone in thunderstorms weather, do not make phone calls while charging, otherwise it will cause electric shock hazard.
- Use a power matching the charger. Use of other power can cause leakage, fire, damage to the phone and charger.
- Do not short—circuit charge, otherwise it will cause electric shock, smoke and damage the charger.
- Do not use the charger in the power cord damaged cases, otherwise it will cause a fire or electric shock.
- Do not disassemble or refit the charger, otherwise it will lead to personal injury, electric shock, fire or damage to the charger.
- Charger is not waterproof. Please do not use in kitchens, bathrooms and other high temperature and humidity places, otherwise it will cause electric shock, fire or damage to the charger.
- Seize the charger but not drag the power cord when unplugging the charger from the outlet, dragging the power cord can damage the cord and may cause an electric shock or fire.
- Do not charge the cell phone if no device battery is in the phone.
Headphone Precautions
- When using the headset, adjust it to a suitable volume, listening to music or conversations in loud volume or long hours will cause ear discomfort or hearing damage.
- In dry conditions, inside the headset may accumulate static electricity. Avoid using headphones in a dry environment. Before connecting the headset to the device, first wash your hands or contact other objects to release static electricity.
Play games precautions
When you play the game too long, you may occur physical discomfort. Please refer to the following advices:
- Rest for at least 15 minutes every hour when play games.
- lf your hand, wrist or arm start to pain while playing games, stop playing games and rest a few hours before playing again.
- lf you continue feeling the pains your hand, wrist and arms while playing games, stop and see a doctor.
- For your safety, please use original accessories approved by the Company and applied to the phone. Accessories can be purchased at the vivo specialty shops.
- Non—professionals can not disassemble the phone, batteries and other accessories. When mobile phones, batteries and accessories break down, please contact your local vivo service center.
- Using SIM card to surf the Internet will generate traffic costs, particulars please consult your network operator.
- Do not get close to humans and animals' eyes when using the flash, otherwise it may cause temporary loss of vision or visual impairment.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. ![]()
Adapter shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. - Risk of explosion if battery replaced by an incorrect type.
- Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions
- Please make sure the temperature for adapter will not be higher than 35ºC and not be lower 0ºC.

Care and Maintenance
It can be safer and more effective using the phone after thorough understanding about care and maintenance of mobile phone. It can also extend the service life of the phone as long as possible.
Mobile phones and accessories
- Please click the user manual instructions to open the phone, dismantling parts, not try other methods.
- Phone is not waterproof, please keep your phone and accessories dry. Rain, moisture and all kinds of liquids or moisture may contain minerals, which will corrode electronic circuit.
- Do not use or put the phone in dusty, dirty areas. This will damage the detachable part and electronic components.
- Do not use or put the phone in overheated places. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastic component.
- Do not use or put the phone in cold areas. Otherwise, it will cause damage to the circuit board, when the phone's temperature rises to normal temperature, moisture will be formed inside.
- Do not drop, knock or vibrate the phone. Rough handling can damage internal circuit boards and precise mechanics.
- Do not use chemical solvents or detergents to clean the phone. Please use the soft cotton fabric stained with water or neutral soap to clean the phone.
- Use a clean, dry soft cloth to clean the lens (for example: the camera lens) and display screen.
- Do not paint the phone. Pigments may block cell phone parts, thus affecting the normal operation.
- Please long press the power button to turn off the phone in case of abnormal phenomena, press the power button to re—boot, so you can solve ordinary malfunction.
- Backup the important data. (for example: Contacts, important information, etc)
- When the charger is not in use, unplug it from the electrical outlet. Please do not connect the fully charged battery to the charger, since overcharging may shorten battery life.
- To extend battery life, keep the battery full charged. The battery will discharge gradually if left unused for a long time. When not in use, please charge the battery (half full state), place in a cool, dry and dark place. Storage time should not exceed one month. Please recharge the phone over a month.
