    Intended Use The TOF1550 is intended to be used as a digitally tunable optical bandpass filter within a laboratory environment. It is designed to be controlled from the touch screen user interface or remotely with a computer by connected to a PC through a USB port.

    ITU Grid Channel mode (Figure 16). In this mode, the center wavelength of the filter passband is based on the channel according to the ITU Grid standards. The TOF1550 filter can be set to channels within the range from 14 to 63 at increments of 0.01 which correspond to the operating wavelength range of the filter.

    Connecting to a Computer The TOF1550 tunable filter can be remotely operated by connecting to a computer through the USB Type-C port. A USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable is provided, a USB-A to USB Type-C cable can also be used if the computer has no USB Type-C port.
