TRIGGERPAD FRONT VIEW 8 Trigger outputs 0-10V LED signalization: On power up: Brmware version signalisation blinking red, green, amber. After 2.5 seconds power will be available on the USB Host connector and the LED will turn RED. If the connected controller is self powered then it will connect before the USB power turns on and the LED will stay OFF.
TRIGGERPAD OUTLINE Press CHANNEL 1-8 in the TOP ROW to select a channel and display its pattern on the 8×8 grid. TOP ROW • hold and select multiple Example: while holding one channel press other SCANNING SWING RED LED channels to select multiple. To deselect the channels press any channel.
PATTERN LENGTH AND SHIFT STEPS Hold a CHANNEL or double tap on it to show the BLINKING pattern’s active area on the GRID. While the area CURRENT CHANNEL is visible press two pads on the GRID to RESIZE the pattern length of the selected channel. To RESIZE the pattern length of multiple channels select multiple channels.
PATTERN LENGTH FREE FORM While the active area is displayed on the grid HELD press BPM for 2 seconds to set the length of the CHANNEL active area in a free form. The pattern area will use the full width of the grid allowing any pattern lengths between 1-64.
SWING Double tap or hold SWING to display the swing SWING pattern on the GRID and swing amount on the AMOUNT TOP ROW. Hold one channel (or select multiple) and double press SWING to edit the swing of only that channel. If no channel is selected when SWING pressing SWING the edited swing parameters will be set on all channels.
SWINGING BPM Press SWING and BPM to display the BPM swing page (SWN will appear on the grid). When the clock source is set to internal it’s possible to edit the amount of BPM swing by changing the displayed percentage from -99% to 99%. The SWING swing period can be set from 1 microstep to 24 microsteps.
HUMANISING DYNAMICS Humanised dynamics can simulate harder and CHANNELS lower hits of left or right hand or accentuate the MASK down beats while damping or even omitting some other hits. To achieve this effect an accentuating pattern is applied to the trigger levels (or trigger lengths) of the playing pattern.
Double tap or hold BPM to display the current BPM on the grid. The TOP ROW will display the NUDGE BAR NUDGE BAR. Holding a pad on the nudge bar will temporarily increase or decrease the bpm by 1, 2, 3 or 4.
DUCKING MATRIX Press TRIGGER SIZE and ERASE simultaneusly to display the DUCKING MATRIX (DM will appear CHANNELS on the grid). For each channel it is possible to deBne which channels it will duck as well as the ducking amount. This can be used to shape dynamics similarly to what a sidechain compressor does, but applied to trigger level or TRIGGER...
RESYNC PATTERNS’ PHASES Starting channels at different timings or resizing CHANNEL 3 the patterns to different lengths before setting HELD them back to the same length might put them out of phase. To resync the phases hold a CHANNEL and press CLOCK. The phases of all other channels will sync to the channel being held.
SCENES: SAVE AND ERASE Double tap or hold SCENES to display the scenes page. While on scenes page hold SWING and press a pad on the 8×8 grid to SAVE the patterns of the 8 channels on that location. SCENES: EDIT NON PLAYING SCENE Double tap or hold SCENES to display the scenes page. While on scenes page hold TRIGGER SIZE (LOAD) and press a pad on the grid to edit the scene without playing it. The SCENES button will turn into the same color as the selected scene SAVE and both will start blinking on and off.
MIDI SETUP PAGE This feature is only available when connecting a Launchpad Pro or a Launchpad Pro Mk3. On the left sidebar it’s possible to set which MIDI messages will be sent to the TRS MIDI out connector on the connected Launchpad. Pressing the corresponding pad toggles MIDI clock messages, transport messages and trigger MIDI note messages.
SAVE ALL SCENES TO USB DRIVE It is possible to save all of the 64 patterns to one Ble on a USB drive (the USB drive should be formatted to FAT32). Triggerpad will create a folder named TP where it will save Bles named TP_n.csv.

Devices then in the drop down menu select DFU in FS Mode and press Install Driver. Download the Triggerpad Flasher (Win) from crosspatch.eu, unzip the content into a folder and run the app Triggerpad Flasher.exe. First run might get blocked by Windows due to security reasons. In the window that pops up select “More info” and then press “Run anyway”. In the Triggerpad Flasher app select the Brmware Ble and press Upload Firmware.
Launchpad Pro Mk3 that prevents sending MIDI messages of the pressed pads to the MIDI TRS out 1 (a similar option is available on the Launchpad Pro Mk1). This is unfortunately not possible to be Bxed by Crosspatch.
