    1. SICHERHEIT • Diese Anleitung aufmerksam lesen und die Sicherheitshinweise beachten. • Für die spätere Nutzung sicher aufbewahren. • Bei der Weitergabe des Produkts, diese Anleitung mitliefern. Die nachfolgenden sicherheitsbezogenen Informationen beschreiben mögliche Gefährdungen und Restrisiken, die bei der Anwendung des Geräts auftreten können. Um Personen- und Sachschäden zu vermeiden, lies die hier aufgeführten Anweisungen sorgfältig durch und beachte sie bei der Verwendung des Geräts.

    Stelle während des Betriebs keine Tüten, Dosen oder Flaschen in den Kochtopf oder auf den Grill. Es besteht Explosionsgefahr. Ziehe bei Nichtgebrauch, vor dem Umstellen des Geräts sowie vor der Reinigung, Lagerung, Reparatur oder Störbeseitigung immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose, um ein unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten des Geräts zu ver- meiden.

    1.4 GEFÄHRDUNGEN DURCH HEISSE OBERFLÄCHEN Folgende Komponenten bzw. Oberflächen werden während des Betriebs des Geräts heiß: • Alle Seiten des Gehäuses • Grill • Kochtopf • Glasdeckel Berühre während des Betriebs keine heißen Oberflächen, sondern bediene das Gerät immer über die dafür vorgesehenen Griffe.
  • Page 7 Nicht einweichen Ein Eintauchen oder Befüllen des Gerätes mit Wasser führt zu irreversiblen Beschädi- gungen und bringt elektrische Gefahren mit sich. Nicht mikrowellengeeignet Das Gerät und seine Teile darf nicht in der Mikrowelle verwendet werden. Nicht spülmaschinenfest Reinige das Gerät per Hand, um die Beschichtung und elektrischen Teile zu schützen. Keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel verwenden Milde Reinigungsmittel schützen die Materialien und das Gerät.

Du kannst beide Funktionen einzeln oder gleich- zeitig verwenden. Das Einschalten und Einstellen der Temperatur erfolgt jeweils über einen Temperaturregler. Die Funktionsweise ist für beide Temperaturregler identisch.

    6. GERÄT AUFSTELLEN UND ANSCHLIESSEN Packe das Gerät aus und entferne sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial. Am besten hebst du es auf, damit du das Gerät zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt einlagern kannst, wenn du es länger nicht verwenden wirst.     7. ERSTMALIGE VERWENDUNG Bei der erstmaligen Verwendung des Geräts können durch das Verbrennen von Produktionsrückständen Dämpfe oder Gerüche entstehen. Das ist normal und keine Fehlfunktion des Geräts. Reinige das Gerät vor der erstmaligen Verwendung vollständig. Mehr Informationen dazu findest du im Kapitel Reinigung und Wartung.

    8.1 KOCHEN 1. Schließe den Gerätestecker an den Netzeingang an der Rückseite des Hot Pots und dann den Netzstecker an eine geeignete Steckdose an. 2. Drehe den Temperaturregler der Kochfunktion im Uhrzeigersinn bis zur höchsten Einstellung. Die zugehörige Betriebsanzeige leuchtet auf. 3.

    9. REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG GEFAHR! Das Gerät darf nicht in Wasser getaucht oder im Geschirrspüler gereinigt werden. Es können Strom- schläge und Fehlfunktionen verursacht werden. WARNUNG! Lasse das Gerät vor der Reinigung abkühlen, damit du dir keine Verbrennungen zuziehst und es nicht zu Verformungen der Oberfläche durch plötzliche Temperaturunterschiede kommt.

    Always remove the plug from the socket when not in use, before moving the appliance and before cleaning, storing, repairing or troubleshooting to prevent the appliance from being switched on unintentionally. 1.2 ELECTRICAL HAZARDS There is a risk of electric shock if the appliance is used incorrectly. Observe the following safety instructions: Insert the plug fully into the socket to avoid overheating, short circuits, fire and other hazards due to a loose connection.

    7. FIRST-TIME USE When using the appliance for the first time, vapours or odours may arise due to the burning of production residues. This is normal and not a malfunction of the appliance. Clean the appliance completely before using it for the first time. You can find more information on this in the cleaning and maintenance chapter.
