    Operator’s Manual 1. Safety 1.1 Safety Precautions Before using this equipment, study the operator’s manual to become familiar with its operation. Do NOT allow un-trained or unauthorized persons, especially children, to operate this equipment. Use only factory authorized parts for service. Operating Safety Familiarity and proper training are required for the safe operation of this equipment.

    Operator’s Manual 2. Operation 2.1. Application Rammers are designed to compact loose soils and gravel to prevent settling and to provide a firm, solid base for the placement of footings, concrete slabs, foundations piping, pavers and cable backfill. Do Not use Rammer in the following cases. It may cause damage because the machine is likely to be unbalanced.

    Operator’s Manual • If the engine has started, return the choke to the fully open position. Warm engine up for 3-5 minutes, paying attention for fuel leaks or abnormal running. • If unable to start the engine by repeatedly pulling the starter rope, it may have “flooded”.

    Operator’s Manual 3.4 Air Cleaner Maintaining a clean engine will extend engine life. Tampers run in a dusty environment and particular attention must be paid to the air cleaner. Keep air filter clean at all times. Clean air filter daily. See engine manual for proper cleaning procedure.
