INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Lay the kayak flat on a clean surface, with no objects which could damage the inflatable structure.
2. Identify the kind of valve:
BOSTON valve (low pressure) :
High Pressure valve :
- Unscrew the cap.
- Open position: the spring is depressed, the valve is open,
- Connect the pump directly
the air escapes, the kayak deflates.
- Closed position: the spring is released, the valve is closed,
connect the end of the pump to inflate.
- Connect the pump by turning ¼ turn.
Only use a Decathlon pump recommended to your kayak. For packraft models : Use the pumpbag to inflate your boat.
3. Inflate the main section (hull) then the intermediate sections (walls), then the small sections (arches). This technique
makes inflation much easier. Inflate to the nominal pressure indicated on the product under risk of over-inflation and/or
explosion.
4.For specifications of each boat, please follow the illustrated indications attached to this user guide.
5.Before you use your kayak check the local regulations. The distance you are allowed to travel from the coast depends on
your type of kayak, your equipment, and the local regulations in effect. Check the weather conditions.
For packraft models : WARNING: Don't forget your EN 1385 helmet as well as your ISO 12402-5 buoyancy aid.
For Packraft 500 : Open the waterproof ZIP and place any items inside that you won't require during use. This compartment
