Water resistance guide

In order for your Xperia™ active to be water-resistant, the covers of the micro USB port
and the headset connector must be firmly closed. Also, make sure that the back cover and
the battery cover are attached correctly. The Startup guide provides instructions on how
to correctly attach the battery cover and the back cover.
Avoid exposing your device to environments with excessive dust or moisture. Normal wear
and tear, along with damage to your device, can reduce its ability to resist dust or moisture.

Never submerge the mobile phone, the micro USB port or the headset connector in water,
expose the mobile phone to any liquid chemicals, or expose your mobile phone to moist
environments with extreme high or low temperatures. If water or liquid gets on the micro
USB port and the headset connector, wipe it off with a dry cloth. The water resistance of
the micro USB port and the headset connector are not guaranteed in all environments or
conditions.
All compatible accessories, including batteries, chargers, handsfree devices, micro USB
cables, microSD™ cards, lanyards, and so on are not dust and water-resistant on their
own.
Your warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by abuse or improper use of your
device. If you have any further questions about the use of your products, get help from our
